Our Story
In early 2021, just after opening Huda PHL, our original Center City shop known for gourmet sandwiches on house-made milk buns, a snowstorm slammed Philly. Deliveries halted. Most kitchens shut down. But Yehuda checked the walk-in and found just one pack of brisket. So he ground it by hand, smashed patties on cast iron pans over a makeshift griddle, and posted on Instagram: “Smash burgers on milk buns. Today only.”
People showed up. In the middle of the storm, they waited in line and the burgers sold out fast.
That day made one thing clear: smash burgers and our milk buns are a perfect pair.
Huda Burger was born out of that moment, built on a shared love of burgers, music, and Philly, backed by years of experience doing what they love, at scale, and for people. Yehuda comes from the fine dining world, where every detail matters. Dan’s background is in live music and hospitality, through 100 x hopspitality creating unforgettable experiences for fans across the world. Together, they bring a shared energy: big taste, effortless flow, and a respect for the people you’re serving.
